down with snowbanks
bye bye plowses
down with mices in our houses.

hello sprintime
up come flowers
hello pretty green-tipped bowers.

open umbrellas
shut down fire places
open shoe boxes with tie-me-up laces.

new is here
dead is gone
new come-run-on-me grassy lawn.

still I wait
snow will return
still it is winter. when will I learn?

A+
awesome poem! I wish I could send a little bit of our spring weather your way :)
My thoughts exactly--just expressed much more beautifully.
