Snow!

One of the bits of advice I hear a lot from professional photographers is to always keep shooting for yourself. I've struggled with that this past year as learning how to post-process and store large quantities of photos has slowed me down, and I didn't want to make more "work" for myself.

However, this year I'm determined to get a handle on my "Digital Asset Management" and maybe come up with a few projects to keep me challenged as well as just taking advantages of opportunities as they come. So, this past Sunday when the snow came down, I took to my street with an umbrella (to TRY to protect my camera from the falling precipitation) and my camera.

Less than 20 minutes later I was back inside trying to rid my finger tips of the stinging pain that comes after a stroll in the snow. Here's to those 20 minutes and many more such moments to come:

Did I ever mention I like weeds? Oh, that's right. I did.
