US geography

One of my girls was talking to her college-age brother on the phone in my room tonight.
Here's part of her conversation:

"john mark, where are you living?

i forgot whether it's ohio or north dakota.

neither? arkansas? is that near north dakota?

well, what are you doing in arkansas??"

Needless to say, she hasn't a clue about US geography. :D
